Truth or Dare

As I dug deep into meditation today, it became clear to me one undeniable truth. We have all been born to one kind of Religion/Dogma or another which has instilled deep rooted beliefs that have been adapted and reinterpreted by our own personal experience and view of the world.
Speaking as a minister myself, it has been interesting for me to witness that almost every religion I have encountered, the people who practice them seem to believe that theirs is the “only and true way” and any other way is the way that leads to “sin and death”. Some go as far as advertising themselves as being “all inclusive” and open to receiving anyone without judgement as a possibility of having them join their group, however, this is precisely the issue that has divided the world so much, the issue that continually brings forth war and unending suffering.
What if the idea of what we call God is nothing like we have been told since the very birth of religion and dogma? Even the name “God” is a term that we have created to try to describe what we think we know about what God is. Some call it the Universe, Source Energy, etc.
But what do we really know?
This is the part where, if you are a die-hard Christian or a part of some other ramification of Christianity related dogma, you are probably thinking “She needs to be saved, or She needs Jesus”.
What I do know is that we all have the innate power to create our reality, our happiness! In human terms, you can call it “The God within”. While some of us may need the support of religion or dogma to help us in our journey, that is also completely perfect… It is another way so called miracles happen.
So, what is the truth? The real truth is that we truly don’t know anything… But the best way to find our answers is to go WITHIN. Each and every one of our answers will be different because each and every one of us IS different.
Don’t you just LOVE diversity?!? That’s what makes this experience so beautiful!
So, with this message, I dare you to challenge what you think you know, of course, without inflicting harm upon yourself or others. I dare you to go within and begin to discover the mysteries in this beautiful life you have manifested!
